Delhi golfer Ranveer Mitroo finished fourth in the Singapore Junior Golf Championship, which was being held at the Keppel Club, Singapore, from June 4 to June 6.

The Singapore Junior Golf Championship 2025 saw exceptional performances from Indian golfers like Ranveer Mitroo from Delhi, Anshul Mishra from West Bengal, Chandigarh golfer Krish Chawla, and Avneesh Somayaji.

Mitroo lay tied third at a score of 3-under 69 in the first round, while with scores of an even par 72 Mishra lay tied sixth. Krish Chawla tied fourteenth for a scire of 4-over 76, followed by Avneesh, who scored a 77 in the first round.

While Mitroo (69-72) had a difficult second round in which he lay fifth at a two-day total of 3-under 141, Mishra (72-71) maintained consistency in his game, and at a two-day total of 1-under 143, remained tied sixth. Chawla (76-76) lay seventeenth at a two-day score of 152. Avneesh played a better second round, in which he scored a 74, and scored a 151 after two rounds.

Ranveer Mitroo

Improving his game, Ranveer Mitroo shot a 3-under 69, and at a total score of 6-under 210, finished fourth. Mitroo also finished second in his category.

Scoring his best in the tour of 3-under 69, Anshul Mishra, not only finished seventh in his category, but also finished sixth in the tournament, at an overall score of 4-under 212.

Krish Chawla

Scoring his best in the tour, of a 1-under 71, Krish Chawla finished tied twelfth at an overall score of 223 with Malaysian golfer Anis Dylan Sinno (74-76-73).

Avneesh Somayaji (77-74-78) scored a total of 229, and finished sixteenth.

Anshul Mishra

Elated with his performance, Anshul Mishra said, “It was a great experience to play in such a prestigious event, especially on such a challenging course. I would like to thank the IGU for giving me this opportunity. Although I wasn’t able to win a medal for my country, there were plenty of positives to take away from the event. I look forward to the upcoming tournaments and hope to perform better”.

Meanwhile, Thailand golfer Ajalawich Anantasethakul (69-63-68) won the Singapore Junior Golf Championship 2025 with an overall score of 16-under 200, followed by Malaysia’s Troy Storm (69-70-66), who finished second at an overall score of 11-under 205. Philippines’ Shinichi Suzuki (65-71-71) and Singapore golfer , who finished second and third at, and 9-under 207 respectively.
