Rehan Naidu and Samaira Chitlangia take lead in the first round of the Eastern Junior Tour Championship 2024, that is being held at the FWEPTA South, Kolkata, from December 18 to December 19.

Rehan Naidu scored an 80 after the first round of the Eastern Junior Tour Championship 2024 concluded on December 18, and took a lead in A&B Boys as well as B Boys categories.

Lakshya Agarwal scored an 81 and finished second in A&B Boys after the first round, followed by Shaurya Bhatnagar and Adityajit Gupta who finished tied third at a score of 82.

Samaira Chitlangia dominates B Girls after the first round with a score of 81. Ishikha Bansal scored an 87 and finished second in B Girls, followed by Akansha Jaiswal, who ended the first round with a score of 113.

In B Boys, Adityajit Gupta chased Rehan Naidu and finished the first round with a score of 82. Manan Bagrecha finished third in B Boys with a score of 83.

In C Boys, Krishiv Rungta posted the leading score of 82. While Arkoprovo Choudhury scored an 87 and finished second, Armaan Bhoopal scored an 89 and finished third in C Boys.

Myra Kaur Chandok posted the leading score of 99 in C Girls.

Ujjan Chakraborty scored a 100, and posted lead in D Boys after the first round. Ujjan Chakraborty was chased by Dhruv D. Patodia and Shaurish Sen, who scored a 103 and 104, and finished the first round at second and third respectively.

Vaasvi Himatsingka posted the leading score of 112 in D Girls, while Medhavi Kaul scored a 125 and finished the first round at second.

The participants of E Boys and E Girls played nine holes on the first round. After completing nine holes, Jayansh Lakhotia posted a leading score of 43 in E Boys, followed by Yugansh Agarwal who finished the first round at the second position, at a score of 47.

Anwita Sinha posted the leading score of 48 in E Girls after the completion of nine holes.

The Eastern Junior Tour Championship 2024, the 13th and the final leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour is all set to begin on December 18 at the FWEPTA South (RCTC), Kolkata.

With over 35 junior golfers participating in the prestigious Eastern Junior Tour Championship, the top five winners of the tour will qualify for the 2025 IGU Junior Tour.
