Ruoning Yin from China gained conquest in the Buick LPGA Tour, that was organized at the Qizhong Garden Golf Club situated in the Minhang district of Shanghai, from October 9. The tour concluded on October 13 with the win of Ruining Yin, and successful golf performance by many other women golfers from Asia as well as the US.

Though Ruoning Yin was able to hit many birdies in the inauguration round, she had a rough start with two under 72. However, she played a better second round, which she started off with hitting a birdie, and ended with six under 72.

Ruoning maintained a consistent game strategy and mental resilience to finish the penultimate round with a nine under par, opening the day with a birdie followed by several other birdies that changed her game. Ruoning scored a eight under 72 on the fourth round maintaining great efficiency that led her to score a total of 25 under 288, and Ruoning Yin went on to become the champion of the Buick LPGA Tour.

Ruoning’s toughest competitors were Mao Saigo of Japan and Sei Young Kim of South Korea who finished the tour, tying at the second position. Sei Young Kim had a spectacular start with a score of ten under 72 on the first round. However, she had a challenging second round which she ended with two under 72. Sei Young Kim managed to score a three under and four under on the third and the fourth rounds respectively, that culminated in a total score of nineteen under 288.

Meanwhile, Mao Saigo scored a four under on the first round followed by a better second round, which she ended with seven under par. Although she went on to maintain her second round’s score on the penultimate round as well, Mao Saigo had a challenging fourth round which she finished with a one under 72. This resulted in a total score of 269, i.e. is a nineteen under 288. Thus, Mao Saigo and Sei Young kim tied at the second position with the same score.

Yealimi Noh from the U.S.A secured the fourth position at the end of the final round with a total score of eighteen under 288. Opening the first round with a four under 72, she went on to maintain a consistency in her game strategy as well as overall performance to finish the second, third and the fourth rounds with a five under, four under and five under par scores respectively.

The Buick LPGA was a testimony to some great golfing moments and amazing display of skills and strategy. Indian golfer, Aditi Ashok too put up great performance in the Buick LPGA but had a challenging tournament. Though Aditi (71-72-69-75) showed great resilience and managed to chip in many birdies throughout the tournament, she finished with a total score of one under and tied at the 55th position along with Savannah Grewal (71-73-71-72) of Canada.
