Saquib Hussain wins the 13th edition of the Eastern Amateur Tour Championship 2025, the 13th Leg of the IGU Eastern Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, which was held at the Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA) from December 27 and December 28.

Overnight leader in the Amateur category, Saquib (78-80) had a difficult second round in which he shot an 80. At a total score of 158, Saquib topped to win his category.

Andrew Baid (90-80) had a good round in which he shot an 80. At a total score of 170, Andrew finished second in the Amateur category.

Shabi Khan finished third in the Amateur category at a total score of 173.

Overnight leader in Mid Amateur category, Sushil Kumar won his category at a total score of 183, followed by Jayanta Banerjee, who finished second in the Mid Amateur category with a total score of 189.

Overnight leader in the Senior category, Col. Shreekant Tiwari (79-80) won his category at an overall score of 159.

Col. Feroz Khan (80-80) won the Super Senior category at a total score of 160, and finished second in the Senior category.

Captain Rana Chatterjee finished second in the Super Senior category and third in the Senior category at a total score of 176.

Meanwhile, overnight leader in the Ladies category, Karishma Samadder won her category at a total score of 171.

Following the Eastern Amateur Tour Championship 2025, Jashan Bhaarat Shah, who played ten feeder tours out of the thirteen played in 2024, tops the Order of Merit of the Amateur category of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour with a 331, followed by Shabi Khan and Dishan Ghosh, who lay second and third in the Amateur category Order of Merit, by playing ten and six matches respectively.

While Sushil Kumar, who played seven feeder tours tops the Order of Merit of the Mid Amateur category, Abhishek Mitra and G. Suresh Sharma lay second and third in the Order of Merit.

Col. Shreekant Tiwari tops the Order of Merit of the Senior category, playing eight tours.

Ravindra Kumar Singhania tops the Order of Merit of the Super Senior category and lay second in the Order of Merit of the Senior category.

Captain Rana Chatterjee finished the Order of Merit of the Senior and Super Senior categories, placed third and second respectively.

The IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and is providing the players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Breathe.golf, and Indian Golf News (IGN) are the media partners for the tour. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
