Sukhman Singh and Deepak Yadav took lead in the second round of the IGU Samarvir Sahi Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Chandigarh Golf Club, from May 6 to May 9.
Uttar Pradesh golfer Sukhman Singh shot a 5-under 67 in the second round, and at a second day total of 5-under 139. On the other hand, Delhi golfer Deepak Yadav had a tough second round, in which he scored a 1-under 71, after a 4-under 68 in the first round. At a second-round total of 5-under 139, Deepak took a joint lead with Sukhman Singh.
Karnataka’s Veer Ganapathy (71-69) and Uttar Pradesh’s Arin Ahuja (70-70) lay jointly third at a second-round total score of 140.
Delhi golfers Rakshit Dahiya (73-68) and Ranveer Mitroo (71-70), and Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh (71-70) and Aarya Sharma (70-71), lay tied fifth.
West Bengal golfer Suveer Kapoor (73-70) lay tied eleventh after the second round at a second-round total of 1-under 143 with a group of golfers that includes Uttar Pradesh’s Akshat Sharma (74-69), Chandigarh’s Krish Chawla (73-70), Anupam Dahiya (71-72), and Ransher Singh Randhawa (71-72), and Haryana’s Lt. Col. Varoon Parmar (68-75).
