The third leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour – Bengal Junior Open 2025, co-sanctioned by Bengal Golf Association (BGA) and Bengal Olympic Association, is all set to be held at the prestigious Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata on April 1 and April 2.
With the practice round scheduled on 31 March, the enthusiasm among the budding golfers is built high, as they prepare to display their golfing skills in the upcoming two days.
The event is going to see the participation of over 40 young and budding golfers. There are 10 age categories for junior boys and girls.
i. A&B Boys (15-17 years)
ii. B Boys (13-14 years)
iii. B Girls (13-14 years)
iv. C Boys (11-12 years)
v. C Girls (11-12 years)
vi. D Boys (9-10 years)
vii. D Girls (9-10 years)
viii. E Boys (7-8 years)
ix. E Girls (7-8 years)
x. F Boys & Girls (Under 7 years)
The Bengal Junior Open 2025 is going to be played over 36 holes by the A&B Boys and Girls, B Boys and Girls, C Boys and Girls, and D Boys and Girls. The participants of E Boys and Girls, and F Boys and Girls are going to play 18 holes over two rounds.
There is also a special category, the participants of which are also going to play 18 holes over two consecutive rounds.
