Syed Shayaan Khadri wins the very first IGU Amateur National Qualifier of the year, which was being held from February 10 to February 13 at the Golmuri Golf Club.

Overnight leader in the third round, Karnataka’s Syed Shayaan Khadri had a difficult fourth round in which he shot a 75. Starting with a 1-over 73 in the opening round, Khadri’s game improved with a 2-under 70 and 1-under 71 in the second and the third rounds respectively. At an overall score of 1-over 289, Khadri secured victory in the IGU Amateur National Qualifier – I 2026.

Maharashtra golfer Nikhil Pande (73-70-77-74) played a better fourth round, shooting a 74, and at an overall score of 294, finished second.

Recovering his performance, Karnataka golfer Himanshu Sadgun Sreedhara (72-70-80-74) shot a 74 today, and at an overall score of 296, finished third.

Karnataka’s Sushir Kumar (77-75-73-73), Milind MG (79-71-72-76), and Akarsh Gowda (74-67-78-79) finished fourth jointly at an overall score of 298.
