Karnataka golfer Tanish R. Gowda shot a 4-under 68 in the first round, and currently leads the IGU Eastern India Amateur Golf Championship 2025.
Delhi’s Deepak Yadav and Haryana’s Harman Sachdeva lay tied second, jointly, shooting a 2-under 70.
A group of golfers including Haryana’s Devin Singh, Karnataka’s Mithil MG, Haryana’s Zoravar Randhawa, Karnataka’s Sumit Kotwal and Haryana’s Ribhav Verma, lay tied fourth at a score of 1-under 71.
West Bengal golfer Samridh Sen lay tied ninth at an even par score of 72 with a group of golfers including Haryana’s Gulfam Hussain, Delhi’s Pritish Singh Karayat, Uttar Pradesh’s Sachin Chauhan, Delhi’s Ranveer Mitroo, Haryana’s Ayush Pannu, and Uttar Pradesh’s Arshvant Srivastava.
