The fourth leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Breathegolf Amateur Open 2025 was hosted in the prestigious Tollygunge Club, on April 30 and May 1. Over 30 Amateur and Senior-Super Senior golfers participated in the tournament.
The first round was suspended on April 30 due to inclement weather and heavy downpour. While the participants of the Senior and Super Senior categories finished playing 12 holes in the first round, the Amateurs and the Mid-Amateurs started their round afresh in the second round.
Playing 18 holes, Tony Mondal wins the Amateur category, with a score of 75, with Suraj Sahu, finishing second in Amateur category with a score of 76.
Sushil Kumar won the Mid-Amateur category at a score of 86, followed by Col. Shreekant Tiwari, who finished second at a score of 91, after playing 18 holes in the second round.
The players in the Senior and Super-Senior categories played a total of 30 holes over two rounds.
While Sumit Banerjee won the Senior and Super-Senior categories at a two-day total score of 145, Sajid Hussain finished second at a two-day total of 146.
Captain Rana Chatterjee finished second in the Super-Senior category, following Sumit Banerjee.
