Umed rises on the leaderboard after the third round of the IGU Norther India Amateur Golf Championship, that is being held at the Panchkula Golf Club, from April 29 to May 2.
Haryana golfer Umed (78-68-66) shot his personal best of 6-under 66 in the third round, the best score of the tournament so far. With a three-day total score of 4-under 212, Umed took a lead after the first round.
Umed was chased by Chandigarh golfer Ayaan Gupta (72-71-72), who had a difficult third round, but managed to maintain an overall consistency, and at a three-day total of 1-under 215, lay second.
Punjab golfer Ranvir Singh Pandher (74-72-74) lay third at a third-round total score of 220.
