The Pre-Quarter finals and Quarterfinals of the IGU Eastern India Amateur Golf Championship, the 6th leg of the IGU Gentlemen’s Tour, were held on 17th May, Friday, at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC). After 36 rounds, we finally have our Semi-finalists. Kanav Chauhan defeated Joysurjo Dey (Pre-Quarter Finals) and Tushar Pannu (Quarter Finals) with a scoreline of 3 & 1 and 5 & 4 respectively. Subsequently, Arjun Singh emerged victorious against Vinamra Anand (Pre-Quarter Finals) and H.S. Bhati (Quarter Finals)  with two up and 4 & 3 scores, respectively. Aryav Shah and Anshul Mishra both tasted defeats against Manoj S with similar scores of 3 & 2 each, resulting in Manoj S proceeding to the semifinals. Manoviraj Shekhawat secured a spot in the semifinals by defeating Anant S Ahlawat and Bipin Mukhiya by 1 up respectively.
