Vihaan Jain takes lead and rises on the leaderboard after the third round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the East Point Golf Club, Vizag, from May 20 to May 23.
Haryana golfer Vihaan Jain (69-70-65) shot his personal best of 7-under 65 on the third round, and made his move by rising on the leaderboard in the Combined A&B Boys category at a third-day total of 12-under 204.
Overnight leader in the Combined A&B Boys category, Chandigarh golfer Neil Jolly (68-69-68) shot a 4-under 68 in the third round, and at a third round total score of 11-under 205, lay second.
Chandigarh golfer Krish Chawla (71-67-69) shot a 3-under 69 in the third round, and at a third-day score of 9-under 207, lay third in Combined A&B Boys category.
West Bengal golfer Advay Bagla (75-74-70) lay tied ninth with a group of golfers including Haryana’s Prince Bainsla (73-76-70), and Maharashtra’s Siddhant Nathan (71-76-72), at a third-round score of 219 in Combined A&B Boys category.
Meanwhile, overnight leader in B Boys, Delhi golfer Chaitanya Pandey (74-73-70) shot his personal best of a 2-under 70 in the third round, and at a three-day total score of 1-over 217, leads B Boys, followed by Advay Bagla, and Haryana’s Shaurya Dagar (76-72-72), who lay second and third in B Boys after the third round concluded with scores of 219 and 220 respectively.
West Bengal golfer Varish Mohta (74-76-75) lay fourth in B Boys at a third-round total score of 225.
The participants of C Boys, who will play a total of 54 holes over three consecutive rounds, played their second round today, on May 22. Overnight leader in C Boys, Maharashtra golfer Vihaan Gajula (79-79) leads C Boys after the conclusion of the second round with a second-day total score of 158, followed by Haryana golfer Siddhant Sharma (80-80), and Telangana’s Vivaan Pinnapureddy (81-81), who lay second and third in C Boys at second-day total scores of 160 and 162 respectively.
