Vinamra Anand takes lead in the first round of the IGU Samarvir Sahi Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the Chandigarh Golf Club, from February 24 to February 27.

Uttar Pradesh golfer Vinamra Anand shot a 3-under 69, to top the scoreboard after the first round.

Anand was chased by Uttar Pradesh golfer Parth Raman Sood, who shot a 2-under 70, and lay second currently.

A team of golfers including Uttar Pradesh’s Arin Ahuja, Delhi’s Chaitanya Pandey and Uttar Pradesh’s Arshvant Srivastava lay tied third by shooting an even par score of 72.

Uttar Pradesh golfer Kanav Chauhan, Delhi golfer Chandan Kumar Yadav, Chandigarh’s Jai Gupta and Dilsher Grewal, Haryana’s Vihaan Reddy currently lay tied sixth after the first round, shooting a 1-over 73.
