Ishaan Chawhan took lead after the first round of the IGU Bio-Gen Rotary Southern India Amateur Golf Championship 2025 which is being held at the Karnataka Golf Association from September 16 to September 19.

Gujarat’s Ishaan Chawhan shot a 5-under 67 on the first round to take the lead.

West Bengal golfer Anshul Sharma lay tied second at a score of 3-under 69 with Karnataka’s Sidhant Nathan.

West Bengal golfers shined on the first round, with Samridh Sen and Aryav Shah lying tied fourth with Punjab’s Ranvir Singh Pandher, Delhi’s Pritish Singh Karayat and Haryana’s Rohan Singh Rana, at a score of 2-under 70.

The second round of the IGU Bio-Gen Rotary Southern India Amateur Golf Championship will see the participation of ladies and junior girls in the same tournament, called the IGU Bio-Gen Rotary Southern India Amateur Men Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025.

Above 68 junior girls and ladies are all set to tee off and play their first round on September 17, at the Karnataka Golf Association.
