The golfer from Patna, who started strong with a remarkable 61 on Day 1, demonstrated consistency and control despite the more challenging wet conditions at the Tollygunge Golf Club.
Veer Ganapathy is right on the leader’s back after an impressive performance, shooting an 8-under 62—the lowest round of the day. His remarkable, bogey-free round included a front-nine score of 30 and a back-nine score of 32. This effort places him in solo second at 9-under 131, just three shots behind the leader.
Aalaap I L, who began the day in second place, posted a 69 to stay in the hunt at 6-under 134. He is joined at third by Aryan Roopa Anand, who followed up his opening 68 with a solid 66 to match Aalaap’s two-day total.

Trishul Chinnappa, Chiragh Kumar, Aryav Shah, Rahul Ravi, Harendra Gupta, Pukhraj Singh Gill, Tushar Pannu, and Ridhima Dilawari are all tied for 13th at 1-under 139. Ridhima continues to lead the women’s field with back-to-back rounds of 69 and 70.
Among other notable performances, Digraj Singh Gill bounced back from a 75 with a superb 65, while seasoned names like Kapil Kumar and Udayan Mane slipped down the leaderboard after over-par rounds.
A total of 26 players remain under par or at level par after two rounds, setting the stage for a tightly contested weekend. The final round promises high drama as the field chases Aman Raj, who is eyeing back-to-back IGPL titles after his win in Jaipur.
