This week, two LPGA golfers, Olivia Hartman, who was 26, and Mia Leong, who was 24, were discovered dead on the cruise ship Ocean Majesty. The ship was on a charity trip sailing between Barbados and St. Lucia when this sad event took place.

Police have started looking into the deaths as a possible murder and have named a main suspect, though they haven’t shared the person’s name. Officials stated they are working fast and have promised that they will make sure justice happens.

The situation came to light when Hartman and Leong did not show up for a meet-and-greet planned with passengers. Their absence caused concern and led to them being found in their connected room.

The unexpected deaths of these sports stars have left fans and other athletes in sadness. Messages honoring their success and the role they played in inspiring women’s golf are starting to show up online.

As the investigation is ongoing, the golfing community is in mourning and is waiting for more news from the police.
