The North East Junior Masters 2025 – the 12th Leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour, is a key event on the Feeder Tour circuit, bringing together the finest junior golfers from the region and across the country at the scenic Rhino Environment Park & Training Area in Assam.

The opening round of the North East Junior Masters 2025 commenced on December 6 with over 31 junior golfers teeing off.

Etash Dutta leads Category A&B Boys.

Paridhi Konwar leads B Girls.

Nandini Rathee leads C Girls at a score of 85, which is, incidentally, the overall top score of the day, as well as the top score among the junior girls category.

Jaahnavi Baruah leads D Girls, followed by Duaa Singh, who lay second in D Girls.

Meanwhile, the participants of E Boys, E Girls and F Boys & Girls played nine holes in the opening round.

Playing nine holes, Jude Joe Varghese shot a 56 in the first round, and is currently leading E Boys, followed by Yuvaan Lohia, who shot a 62, to lay second in E Boys.

Kolkata golfer Advika Agarwal leads E Girls, shooting a 46, the best score among the participants of E Boys & E Girls and F Boys & Girls.

Miraan Dwiz shot a 60 and leads F Boys & Girls after the first round concluded.

Organised under the guidance of the BGA, the championship continues to strengthen its role in developing golf talent among junior golfers all over the country, especially in the North East.

Speaking about the event, Anil Bhargava, President, Bengal Golf Association (BGA), shared his appreciation for the continued support and growing participation, and said, “This tournament will open the gates to the North East for Golf to take off in this region. Wishing all the best to all the junior and amateur and senior golfers”.

The North East Junior & Amateur Masters has grown steadily over the years, offering a competitive platform for young and emerging golfers. The event plays an important role in promoting structured junior and amateur participation, strengthening the Feeder Tour pathway, and inspiring new talent in the region.

The organisers look forward to another successful edition showcasing discipline, sportsmanship, and the rising standard of golf in the North East.

The IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and is providing the players with juices and milkshakes.
