Haryana’s Arjun Singh Bhatia played a 4-under 66 round to secure the lead at the 124th Amateur Championship of India at the Tollygunge Club. Neil Jolly from Chandigarh and Arjun Singh from West Bengal lay tied for second with a score of 2-under 68. Uttar Pradesh’s Kanav Chauhan and West Bengal golfers Karan Singh and Suveer Kapoor lay tied for fourth with a score of 1-under 69.
Chandigarh’s Ransher Singh Randhawa, Delhi’s Anas Khan, West Bengal’s Anshul Mishra, Haryana’s Harman Sachdeva, Maharashtra’s Shamit Dakhane , Delhi’s Deepak Yadav and Karnataka’s Jaiveer all scored level par 70 jointly taking the seventh spot
Tomorrow’s strokeplay round will see the top 32 players qualify for the matchplay rounds on 18th December where these players will go against eachother in 16 matches to qualify for the next round.
