Ladies celebrate golfing skills and excellence at the 12th Tollygunge Club ladies Open Championship 2026, which was held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, from January 7 to January 9.
The three-day event saw the participation of over 95 participants, among which, over 25 were outstation participants. While the primary format of the tournament was multi-day stroke-play, with divisions based on handicap and age, there were different other formats of the tournament, that finally decided several other prize categories.
On Friday, January 9, the closing day of the 12th Tollygunge Club Ladies Open Championship, the organizers, Tolly Ladies Golf Union (LGU) organized a gala prize distribution ceremony, awarding all the prize winners.
The tournament was won by young Annoushka Maikap, with a gross score of 237, followed by Maanvi Halwasiya Mehta and Neetu Bansal, who finished second and third in Division I at gross scores of 251 and 262 respectively.
Mr. Vishambhar Saran, Chairman, VISA Group, gave away the VISA Cup to the Division I winner of the NETT category, Subhra Mishra, who won with 214 NETT scores, followed by Hetal Adesara and Oona Khanna, who finished second and third with NETT scores 216 and 220 respectively.
While Sucharita Moitra became the best gross winner in Division II with 286 gross scores, Rashmi Prasad and Ritu Kala finished second and third in the Division II with 301 and 304 gross scores. Neelam Gill finished fourth with 312 gross scores.
Mamta Bhargava won the Tolly Cup NETT category in Division II with 211 NETT scores, with Harshita Khem and Neena Gupta finishing second and third in Division II NETT category with 225 and 231 NETT scores. Rasna Bhandari finished fourth with 231 NETT scores.
Kiran Sharma won the Open Scratch Division III with 304 gross scores, followed by Janet Gasper Chowdhury, Sonia Burman, and Manasi Mohapatra, who finished second, third and fourth with 313, 317, and 320 gross scores respectively.
At countback, while Abha Jain won the Tolly Ladies Golf Union Cup Division III NETT category with 216 NETT scores, Ragini Sinha finished second with the same score. Rashmie Singh finished third with 226 NETT scores, followed by Rita Dogra, who finished fourth with 229 NETT scores.

There were also prizes for closest to the pin on the second and the third day of the tournament.
On the second day, Alka Garg from Division I won the closest to the pin award on hole 2, and Harshita Khem won the closest to the pin challenge on hole 2 from Division II.
On the third round, Gunjan Bijlani, Neena Gupta and Puja Gupta from Division I, II and III respectively won the closest to the pin challenge at the 11th hole.
Vandana Agarwal became the overall winner of the closest to the pin challenge on the third round at the 2nd hole.
Apart from these scheduled prizes, there were lucky draw contests as well. OTT Travels sponsored 2 free tickets from Kolkata to Bangkok for a lucky winner. Two of the ladies got a chance to win 3 nights free stay in a villa for a maximum of 6 people and 3 nights free stay in an apartment for a maximum of 4 people at the luxurious Casa de Concord, Goa.
