Patrick Reed (-14) extended his lead at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic with a composed five-under 67 in Round 3, showcasing relentless consistency across all three days at Emirates Golf Club. The American’s bogey-free round featured pinpoint wedge play and clutch putting, keeping challengers at bay as he eyes a Rolex Series title.

David Puig (-10) made a strong move with a six-under 66, climbing into solo second. The Spaniard’s round was highlighted by aggressive play on the par-5s and a confident finish, keeping him within striking distance of Reed heading into Sunday.
Andy Sullivan (-9) and Viktor Hovland (-9) share third after contrasting rounds. Sullivan posted a steady 71, cooling off after his Round 2 surge, while Hovland fired a brilliant 65—the joint-lowest round of the day—to rocket up the leaderboard. The Norwegian’s back-nine charge included four birdies in five holes, reigniting his title hopes.

Andrea Pavan (-8) and Francesco Molinari (-8) remain in the mix after matching 71s. Both Italians showed flashes of brilliance but couldn’t fully capitalise on scoring opportunities. Their experience will be vital in the final round.

Thorbjørn Olesen (-7) and Jorge Campillo (-7) delivered matching 67s to climb into the top ten. Campillo’s round featured a birdie blitz on the front nine, while Olesen’s steady play kept him in contention.

Julien Guerrier (-6) and Martin Couvra (-6) round out the top ten after rounds of 65 and 68, respectively. Guerrier’s bounce-back performance was one of the day’s highlights, vaulting him up the leaderboard after a slow start to the week.

With one round to play, Reed holds a commanding four-shot lead, but the chasing pack is loaded with firepower. Expect fireworks on Sunday as the Rolex Series event builds toward a dramatic conclusion in Dubai.
