Maharashtra golfer Shashank Sachin Gadre shot a 1-under 71 in the first round, and took lead.
Punjab golfer Gurkipal Singh shot an even par score of 72, and currently lay second.
Chandigarh’s Jai Gupta ay third at a first round score of 1-over 73, followed by Uttar Pradesh golfer Teerath Anand and Maharashtra’s Armaan Thapar, who jointly lay fourth at a score of 74.
