Ribhav Verma secured victory at the IGU Hyderabad Amateur Championship 2026, held at the Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club from April 7 to April 10, delivering a composed final round performance to seal the title.

 

Overnight leader for three consecutive rounds, Haryana’s Ribhav Verma (66-69-72-71) signed off with a steady 1-under 71 in the final round, following his opening rounds of 6-under 66, 3-under 69, and even-par 72. At a four-day total of 10-under 278, Ribhav maintained his lead to emerge as champion of the IGU Hyderabad Amateur Championship 2026.

 

Delhi’s Deepak Yadav (72-71-69-71) produced a consistent final round effort, carding a 1-under 71 to go with his earlier rounds of 72, 1-under 71, and 3-under 69. At a total score of 5-under 283, Yadav finished tied second.

 

Bengal golfer Anshul Mishra (68-71-72-72) closed with an even-par 72 in the final round, after earlier rounds of 4-under 68, 1-under 71, and even-par 72. With a four-day total of 5-under 283, Anshul shared the runner-up position.

 

Delhi’s Ranveer Mitroo (72-73-73-68) delivered one of the best rounds of the day, carding a 4-under 68 in the final round, improving significantly after earlier rounds of 72, 1-over 73, and 1-over 73. At a total of 2-under 286, Mitroo finished tied fourth.

 

Haryana’s Gulfam Hussain (73-72-71-70) signed off with a 2-under 70 in the final round, adding to his previous rounds of 73, even-par 72, and 1-under 71. At a four-day total of 2-under 286, Hussain also finished tied fourth.

 

Uttar Pradesh’s Parth Raman Sood (69-71-70-76) had a difficult final round, carding a 4-over 76 after consistent earlier rounds of 3-under 69, 1-under 71, and 2-under 70. At a total score of 2-under 286, Sood dropped to share fourth place.

 

Uttar Pradesh’s Arin Ahuja (72-75-71-70) and Delhi’s Chaitanya Pandey (74-71-73-70) both returned strong final rounds of 2-under 70. Ahuja, who earlier carded rounds of 72, 3-over 75, and 1-under 71, and Pandey, who posted rounds of 74, 1-under 71, and 1-over 73, finished tied seventh at an overall score of even-par 288.
