Shaurya Dagar takes halfway lead at the IGU Haryana State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the Panchkula Golf Course, from April 21 to April 24.

Haryana golfer Shaurya Dagar (74-69) played a better second round, shooting a 3-under 69, and at a two-day score of 1-under 143, took lead in the A&B Boys Combined category.

Overnight leader in A&B Boys Combined category as well as B Boys category, Haryana golfer Jaibir Singh Kang (72-73) played a difficult second round in which he shot a 1-over 73, and at a two-day score of 1-over 145, tops category B Boys and lay tied second in A&B Boys Combined category with Haryana’s Arjun Dahiya (75-70), who played a better second round, shooting a 2-under 70.

Chandigarh’s Krish Chawla (77-69) and Arunachal Pradesh golfer Deeyon (75-71) currently lay tied fourth in A&B Boys Combined category at a two-day score of 146.

Bengal lad Aranyak Chakraborty (75-77) had a difficult second round in which he shot a 77, following a 75 in his inaugural round, and at a two-day score of 152, lay tied twelfth along with Chandigarh golfer Ranvijay Singh Gill (77-75).

Aranyak also lay third in category B Boys.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s Aman Oswal (76-72) had a better second round, in which he shot an even par score of 72, and at a two-day score of 148, lay second in B Boys chasing Jaibir Singh Kang.

Bengal golfer Arkaprovo Choudhury (77-82) lay tied sixth in category B Boys with Haryana golfer Vedant Paul (81-78) at a two-day score of 159.

The participants of category C Boys played their second round today, with their third and final round scheduled tomorrow, on April 23, Thursday.

Overnight leader, Uttar Pradesh golfer Kabir Goyal (74-76) managed to maintain his lead in the category despite having a difficult round in which he shot a 74, at a two-day score of 150.

Delhi’s Shan Alvi (75-76) and Haryana’s Drona Singh Dhull (75-76) lay tied second in C Boys at a two-day score of 151, followed by Chandigarh’s Vedaansh Jain (79-76), who lay fourth in C Boys at a two-day score of 155.
