The Indian Golf Union has named a young three-member squad for the upcoming Queen Sirikit Cup, scheduled to be played in Indonesia from May 12–15.

The Indian team will feature 15-year-old Guntas Kaur Sandhu of Chandigarh, 19-year-old Ceerat Kang from Panchkula, and Delhi’s 18-year-old Keya K Badugu.

All three players will make their debut appearances at the prestigious Asia-Pacific championship after earning selection through the latest IGU Ladies rankings, where they currently occupy the top three spots.

The squad signals a fresh chapter for Indian women’s amateur golf, with the team built around emerging domestic performers.

Among the trio, Guntas Kaur Sandhu heads into the tournament in particularly strong form. The teenager recently captured the IGU West Bengal Ladies Championship title and also registered a top-20 finish at the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship in New Zealand earlier this year.

The rankings-based selection also meant that higher-ranked WAGR player Zara Anand and reigning All India Ladies Amateur champion Lavanya Gupta were not included in the final squad.
