Vihaan Jain leads after the first round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the East Point Golf Club (EPGC), Vishakhapatnam, from May 12 to May 15.

Delhi golfer Vihaan Jain shot an impressive 5-under 67 in the first round to take a lead in the A&B Boys Combined category.

Karnataka’s Isnidh Virdhi and Haryana’s Arjun Dahiya shot a 2-under 70 and jointly lay second in A&B Boys Combined category, followed by Haryana’s Prince Bainsla, who lay fourth, shooting a 1-under 71.

Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh, Delhi’s Chaitanya Pandey, and Maharashtra golfers Shashank Sachin Gadre and Aman Oswal, all shot an even par score of 72 in the first round to lay tied fifth in the A&B Boys Combined category.

Meanwhile, Aman and Chaitanya jointly co-lead category B Boys at a level par score of 72.

Delhi’s Aditya Misra lay third in category B Boys at a score of 75, followed by Haryana’s Jaibir Singh Kang, Telangana’s Saatvic Kumar Singh, who lay fourth and fifth in category B Boys at scores of 77 and 78 respectively.

Karnataka’s Aditya Tewari and Bengal’s Arkaprovo Choudhury lay tied sixth in category B Boys at a score of 79.

Delhi’s Shan Alvi shot a 74 to take lead in category C Boys followed by Haryana’s Drona Singh Dhull and Delhi’s Samar Bajjal, who lay second and third in C Boys at scores of 76 and 79 respectively.
