Arjun Dahiya takes lead after the second round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the prestigious East Point Golf Club (EPGC), Vishakhapatnam, from May 12 to May 15.

Haryana’s Arjun Dahiya (70-70), who lay tied second with Karnataka’s Ishnidh Virdi, maintained a consistent score, shooting a 2-under 70 in the first and second round consecutively and at a two-day score of 4-under 140, took halfway lead in the A&B Boys Combined category.

Shooting a 1-under 71 in the second round after a 2-under 70 in the opening round, Karnataka’s Ishnidh lay tied second in A&B Boys Combined category at a two-day scire of 3-under 141, with overnight leader in the A&B Boys Combined category, Delhi’s Vihaan Jain (67-74), who had a difficult second round in which he shot a 74 after an impressive 5-under 67 in the opening round.

Delhi’s Chaitanya Pandey (72-70) played a better second round, shooting a 2-under 70 after an even par score of 72 in the first round, and at a two-day score of 2-under 142, lay fourth in A&B Boys Combined category.

Meanwhile, Chaitanya (72-70), who was the overnight co-leader in category B Boys with Maharashtra golfer Aman Oswal, maintains lead in his category at a two-day score of 2-under 142, followed by Delhi’s Aditya Misra (75-78), and Maharashtra’s Aman Oswal (72-82), who lay second and third in B Boys at two-day scores of 153 and 154 respectively.

While Telangana’s Saatvic Kumar Singh (78-77) and Haryana’s Jaibir Singh Kang (77-78) lay tied fourth at two-day score of 155, Karnataka’s Aditya Tewari (79-77) and Bengal’s Arkoprovo Choudhury (79-78) lay sixth and seventh in category B Boys at two-day scores od 156 and 157 respectively.

Meanwhile, the participants of C Boys, who are supposed to play a total of 54 holes over three consecutive rounds, played their second round today. Overnight leader in C Boys, Delhi’s Shan Alvi (74-75) maintained his lead in the category at a two-day score of 149.

Haryana’s Drona Singh Dhull (76-76) and Kabir Sachdev (84-76) lay second and third in C Boys at two-day scores of 152 and 160 respectively.

The participants of C Boys are scheduled to play their third and final round tomorrow, on May 14, while the participants of A&B Boys and B Boys will play their third round on tomorrow, and the fourth and final round on May 15.
