Aida Thimmaiah leads after the first round of the IGU Maharashtra Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the Wellingdon Club, Mumbai, from May 19 to May 21.

Karnataka’s Aida Thimmaiah shot a 1-under 64 in the first round to take lead in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category, as well as the A&B Girls Combined category and B Girls category.

Delhi’s Yogya Bhalla shot an even par score of 65 and lay second in Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category as well as A&B Girls Combined category.

Delhi’s Ayesha Gupta shot a 66, and lay third in Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category as well as A&B Girls Combined category.

Karnataka golfer Aashna Amogha and Haryana’s Aaliyah Kalra jointly co-lead the category C Girls at a score of 71, followed by Haryana’s Nandini Rathee and Uttar Pradesh’s Vidushi Singh, who shot a 72 and 76, and lay third and fourth in category C Girls.
