In the Amateur category, Aranyak Chakraborty (70-68) produced another commanding performance to secure the Breathegolf Amateur Open 2026 title at the prestigious Tollygunge Club with a superb two-day total of 138. Raja Babu Ali (72-76) finished second at 148, while Tony Mondol (74-78) claimed third place with a total of 152.
In the Mid Amateur division, Raja Babu Ali (72-76) topped the leaderboard with a two-day total of 148. With Amit Kr Saraogi finishing second.
The Senior category saw Col SK Tiwari (82-82) secure top honours with a total of 164. Capt. Rajiv Ranjan took the second place after two days of play whilst BV Sri Hari finished taking the third spot.
In the Super Senior division, BV Sri Hari emerged victorious, while R Singhania finished second.
Turning to the Ladies category, Neel Kamal Ranjan claimed the title, while Nina Shil finished second in the category.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Golf Captain of Tollygunge Club Mr. Hitesh Gurtu, Vice Captain Mr. Shubhajit Nag, CEO of Keventer Mr. Surbhit Lihala and COS of Keventer Ms. Sheetal Khanna.
Golf Captain Mr. Hitesh Gurtu praised the players’ grit and determination of the players saying, “I’m a firm believer in each of you who pushed through the whole tournament in such harsh weather is a winner, the trophies are just an acknowledgement so keep your chin up and give it your best for the next one aswell”.
