The Mahitosh Ray Memorial Junior Open 2026, the 9th Leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour, will highlight young golf talent from India from September 2nd to 4th at the Tollygunge Club. The event is organised in memory of Late Mahitosh Ray, who was an avid golfer from West Bengal.
The event will kick off with a practice round on September 1st, followed by competitive tour rounds for the juniors on the 2nd and 3rd.
A total of 50 players will be participating. The young participants will compete in several different age groups:
1. A&B Boys (15-17 years)
2. A&B Girls (15-17 years)
3. B Boys (13-14 years)
4. B Girls (13-14 years)
5. C Boys (11-12 years)
6. C Girls (11-12 years)
7. D Boys (9-10 years)
8. D Girls (9-10 years)
9. E Boys (7-8 years)
10. E Girls (7-8 years)
11. F Boys & Girls (Below 7 years)

The IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and is providing the players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Breathe.golf, and Indian Golf News (IGN) are the media partners for the tour. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
