Mr. Mayukh Ray Said, “It gives the Ray family immense happiness and pride to host the Mahitosh Memorial Golf Tournament for the second consecutive year, in loving memory of my father.

I am deeply grateful to ProTouch and especially Mr Indrajit Bhalotia for their wholehearted support in making this a WAGR-ranking tournament for junior and amateur golfers. Over the past two days, it has been wonderful to see these talented young players compete, learn, and enjoy the spirit of the game.

I sincerely hope that tournaments like these help young golfers understand the importance of building their amateur and World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), which can play a significant role not only in their sporting journey but also open doors to educational opportunities around the world.

My father loved the values that golf represents—discipline, integrity, perseverance, and sportsmanship. There could be no better way to celebrate his memory than by creating a platform that encourages and supports the next generation of golfers.

We look forward to making this tournament a cherished annual tradition and watching it grow with each passing year”.

The IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is The Champ for Life Academy. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and provided players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Breathegolf and Indian Golf News (IGN) are the media partners for the tour. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
