Backed by a roaring home crowd, Lowry closed with a brilliant -7 in Round 4, sealing an emphatic 11-shot triumph and delivering one of the most dominant performances in tournament history.
Chile’s Joaqúin Niemann (-12) and America’s Patrick Reed (-12) shared second place, both producing solid finishes but unable to match Lowry’s relentless pace. Denmark’s Rasmus Neergaard (-11) impressed with a superb -7 to claim fourth, while Italy’s Gregorio De Leo (-10) and Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin (-10) tied for fifth.
