Miyu Yamashita (-22) claimed the Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, closing with a solid 4-under-par round to secure a two-shot victory.

China’s Liu Yan (-20) finished runner-up after matching Yamashita’s 4-under round, but was unable to close the deficit over the closing holes. A tie for third at -19 featured Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Thailand’s Moriya Jutanugarn, with the latter producing one of the best rounds of the day at 5-under.

Australia’s Robyn Choi (-17) claimed fifth place, while Arpichaya Yubol (-16) surged into sixth after firing a brilliant 7-under final round, one of the standout performances on Sunday.

A Lim Kim (-15) finished seventh on her own, while China’s Weiwei Zhang (-14) secured eighth place after another strong finish.

A large group shared ninth place at -13, including Jenny Lopez, Karis Davidson, Amy Yang, Akie Iwai, Hyo Joo Choi, Natalia Guseva, Esther Henseleit, Atthaya Yubol, Céline Boutier, Yoshida Yuka, and Charley Hull. Several players in the group, including Iwai, Guseva, and Henseleit, closed with impressive 5-under rounds.
