Company garners exclusive rights for DP World Professional Golf Tour of India for linear & digital platforms

Unite8 Sports and Zee 5 further strengthen premium sports offering to bring golf closer to consumers across the Nation

Mumbai, 5^th November 2026: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’) has further expanded its portfolio of sports offerings by bringing the leading golf tour – DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI) to its consumers across the Nation. The Company is offering comprehensive coverage of the golf property across its linear sports bouquet – Unite8 Sports and digital entertainment platform – Zee 5.

The Company has garnered the rights of the DP World PGTI for a 12-months cycle, showcasing 20 tournaments across the season. The step is in line with the Company’s strategic approach to build a diversified portfolio of properties that bring its consumers closer to varied sports. Unite8 Sports and Zee 5 will consistently offer extensive coverage of the golf property, encompassing up to 120 hours of live coverage along with dedicated programming from each event, enabling deeper engagement with the sport and its growing community of followers.

Spearheaded by the legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, DP World PGTI features accomplished golfers including Yuvraj Singh Sandhu (2025 DP World PGTI Order of Merit Champion and record-holder for the most victories in a single DP World PGTI season), Saptak Talwar (2026 DP World PGTI Order of Merit Champion), Veer Ahlawat (2024 Order of Merit Champion and Hero Indian Open runner-up), Shaurya Bhattacharya (Former India No. 1 Amateur) and Angad Cheema (Multiple-time DP World PGTI winner known for his consistency).
