Khalin Joshi of Karnataka takes a commanding lead after round two of the IGU Asian Games Selection Trials 2023 at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club. Joshi shot four under par 68, and his total was nine under par 135, two shots ahead of West Bengal-based golfer SSP Chawrasia and Bihar’s Aman Raj, both of whom shot 137. Avani Prashanth, from Karnataka, had an incredible second round with six under par 66, and her total was eight under par 136, making an exceptional comeback and a substantial lead at RCGC on day two. Pranavi Urs, another Karnataka girl who shot 137 and finished second after round two, was just a shot behind. Amadeep Drall of Punjab, the round one leader, slipped to third place after shooting two under par 70 for a total of 138. The Asian Games Selection Trials 2023 of the Indian Golf Union will conclude tomorrow, and we will be able to see the top two of two divisions who will be representing India in the Asian Games 2023.
