The Gem Young Master Amateur Golf Tour held its 2nd event in a series of 4 events in India at Golden Greens Golf Club from 17-19 May.

The 2nd event of Gem Young Master Amateur Golf Tour-India had a low turnout due to multiple events happening on the same date, but we were given an exhibition of great golf by the youngsters in hot and windy conditions. Apart from the 30 + birdies, we also had 4 eagles in the tournament.

The Boys section had low scores and a close match was witnessed between the 3 players until Hiransh got into first gear and left both his competitors behind.

The younger players performed well and shot good scores.

In the girl’s division, we saw a see-saw battle between the experienced Yashita and the youngster Palakshi.
Yashita was 1 shot ahead going into the final day. The third player Tanisha tried to catch up but settled 3rd place. After 54 holes Yashita and Palakshi went into a playoff on the Par 3 fourth hole.

The hole was played twice and Palaksi managed to win the second playoff hole with a par.
