This week, India’s leading women golfers, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, will be competing in the prestigious Amundi Evian Championship, which is the second-to-last major tournament of the year. The championship will take place in France.

Both players have been in good form recently, showing strong performances in their respective tournaments. Aditi Ashok, who is currently ranked 23rd in the LPGA Race to CME Globe Order of Merit, has achieved five top-10 finishes in the 13 LPGA events she has participated in. In the Rolex rankings, she is placed at 45th position. On the other hand, Diksha Dagar holds the fifth position in the Race to Costa Del Sol Ladies European Tour rankings list, with four top-10 finishes to her credit.

Both golfers have also tasted victory on the Ladies European Tour (LET). Aditi won the season-opening Magical Kenya Open, while Diksha secured a recent triumph at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open in late June.

The tournament will be held in the beautiful village of Evian-les-Bains, situated on the shores of Lake Geneva in France. Both players will be entering the championship in decent form. In her previous tournament, Aditi managed to secure a tied seventh position at the Dana Open in Sylvania, Ohio. The event was won by Sweden’s Linn Grant, and Aditi completed the competition with an impressive 12-under aggregate score, featuring three rounds in the sixties.

Indian fans will be eagerly watching and supporting Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar as they take on the challenges posed by the Amundi Evian Championship. Their exceptional skills and recent good form indicate a strong potential for achieving great results in this significant tournament.
