The Fairway Falcons emerged victorious in the 5th Protouch Junior Skills League at the Tolly Golf Centre, Tollygunge Club, held on the 9th and 10th of March, 2024.This thrilling event, hosted by the Protouch Golf Academy, showcased the talents of 32 junior golfers across various short-game skills.

The competition featured five challenging short games: chipping, small basket, long basket, Chipping through the Ring, and Putting. Four teams, namely CFL Samurais, Fairway Falcons, Protouch Tigers, and Golftrade Giants, battled it out with a captain and a vice-captain leading each team.

In the semi-finals, Team Protouch Tigers demonstrated their prowess by defeating Team CFL Samurais. However, it was in the mega-final that the Fairway Falcons truly soared, clinching victory against Golftrade Giants.

Led by Captain Aranyak Chakraborty and Vice-Captain Andrew Baid, the Fairway Falcons showcased remarkable teamwork and skill throughout the competition. Their team also included talented players such as Ishan Jalan, Adhvita Dhelia, S Vishwak Shehan, Aaryaa Jhunjhunwala, Shaurish Sen, and Ujaan Chakraborty.

Despite a valiant effort, the Golftrade Giants, led by Captain Arghya Shah and Vice-Captain Krishiv Rungta, secured the runner-up position. Their team comprised skilled players including Naina Dinodiya, Myra Kaur Chandok, Aahan Sureka, Sanraaj Ghosh, Kiaan Chakraborty, and Rihaan Fogla.

Taking the second runner-up spot was Team Protouch Tigers, led by Captain Sartaj Singh Chandok and Vice-Captain Armaan Bhoopal. The team included Ananya Dutta, Aarav Tantia, Ahaan Jalan, Vaanyaa Rustagi, Reyansh Fogla, and Viraj Agarwal.

The participants of Team CFL Samurais were Manan Bagrecha (Captain), Arrham Jain (Vice Captain), Vaasvi Himatsingka, Shivaang Bajoria, Shiven Kedia, Adhrit Ghosal, Dhruv D Patodia, and Yugaansh Agarwal.
