The opening round saw Robinson-Thompson and Denmark’s Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen tied for the lead at six under par (66). Robinson-Thompson delivered a stellar performance, highlighted by a remarkable 60-foot birdie putt on the 8th hole. Meanwhile, Neergaard-Petersen overcame an early bogey, making seven birdies to join the Englishman at the summit.

Robinson-Thompson continued his strong play in the second round, carding a bogey-free 68 (-4) to move to 10 under par. His standout moment came on the par-four 16th, where he drove the green and sank a four-foot putt for an eagle.
