The 2025 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, takinghis shaping up to be an exciting event at the Doha Golf Club. After the first two rounds, England’s Brandon Robinson-Thompson sits at the top of the leaderboard, showcasing impressive form.

The opening round saw Robinson-Thompson and Denmark’s Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen tied for the lead at six under par (66). Robinson-Thompson delivered a stellar performance, highlighted by a remarkable 60-foot birdie putt on the 8th hole. Meanwhile, Neergaard-Petersen overcame an early bogey, making seven birdies to join the Englishman at the summit.

Robinson-Thompson continued his strong play in the second round, carding a bogey-free 68 (-4) to move to 10 under par. His standout moment came on the par-four 16th, where he drove the green and sank a four-foot putt for an eagle. Close behind him at eight under par are South Korea’s MK Kim and China’s Wenyi Ding and Haotong Li, all of whom remain in contention heading into the weekend.

With two rounds remaining, Robinson-Thompson will look to maintain his lead and secure his first DP World Tour title. The competition remains fierce, setting up an exciting battle for the trophy.
