The Ladies European Tour (LET) event in Riyadh saw intense competition in both team and individual formats.
In the team event, the winners Team Somi Lee delivered a stellar performance, finishing at the top with strong teamwork and consistent play. Team Kyriacou put up a strong challenge, finishing second at 32-under-par, while Teams Henseleit and Grant shared third place at 31-under. Three teams tied for fifth at 28-under-par, rounding out the top contenders.
On the individual leaderboard, Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul surged ahead with a sensational round of 64 (-8), securing a three-shot lead at 13-under-par. Her round featured birdies on the first two holes, another on the fifth, and three consecutive birdies from holes seven to nine. Despite a bogey on the 15th, she finished strong with birdies on 17 and 18.
England’s Annabel Fuller and Korea’s Somi Lee trail closely in second at 10-under-par, while Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini and Austria’s Emma Spitz share fourth at nine-under. A seven-way tie for sixth place sees players like Ariya Jutanugarn, Nanna Koerstz Madsen, and Minsun Kim sitting at eight-under.
Jutanugarn had a standout round of 66 (-6), highlighted by an eagle and four birdies. She credited her putting and strategic approach for her success despite challenging greens.
