The Army Commanders’ Cup 2025 is one of the biggest tournaments that is held once every year at the FWEPTA (South). The tournament, like every year, was open to all the members of FWEPTA, besides a few invited participants.
The Army Commanders’ Cup 2025 was held at the FWEPTA on March 8 and March 9. The format over the two consecutive rounds was Strokeplay. Over 200 enthusiastic golfers took part in the prestigious tournament, and played 36 holes over the two consecutive rounds.
The participants were divided into the following categories:
a. Gentlemen
b. Ladies
c. Young Achievers’ Award
Ramit Kapoor won the Gentlemen’s Gross category with a score of 76, followed by Jaipreet Singh, who finished second with a 78.
Meanwhile, Col. Ashish Dhaka won the NETT category with a 66 on countback, while Col. Prashant V. Patil finished second.
Col. Feroz Khan won the Veteran Gross category with an 84. Col. S.K Singh finished second at an 86.
Among the Ladies, Dr. Madhumita Das won the Gross category at a score of 92, followed by Ms. Sikha Agarwal, who finished second at a score of 96.
Madhav Batra won the Young Achievers’ Gross category with a score of 84.
The Army Commanders’ Cup remains one of Kolkata’s key golf events, continuing its tradition of competitive spirit and camaraderie.
