The first round of the second leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Tolly Junior Classic 2025 began on March 12, at the prestigious Tollygunge Club.
The enthusiastic Amateur, Mid Amateur, Senior, and Super Senior golfers teed off enthusiastically displaying their golf sills and mental toughness.
The duo of Suraj Sahu and Jashan Bhaarat Shah leads the Amateur category with a first round of 75. Saieesh Saproo, who lay third at a first round score of an 80, shot a hole-in-one at sixth.
Amateur Winner of the Leg 1 of IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Tolly Amateur Classic 2025, Dishan Ghosh lay tied fourth with Shabi Khan at a first round score of 81.
Abhishek Mitra: Leader, Mid-Amateur Category
Meanwhile, with a score of 84, Abhishek Mitra leads the Mid-Amateur category, followed by Sushil Kumar, who scored an 89 and lay second.
Col. Shreekant Tiwari: Leader, Senior Category
Col. Shreekant Tiwari scored an 80 and is leading the Senior Category, followed by Capt. Rajesh Patankar, who lay second at a score of 104.
Ravindra Singhania: Leader, Super Senior Category
Ravindra Kumar Singhania leads the Super Senior category with a first round score of 131.
The second and final round of the Leg 2 of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Tolly Amateur Classic 2025 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, on March 13.
