Jashan Bhaarat Shah wins the Leg 2 of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Tolly Amateur Classic 2025, that was being held on March 12 and March 13 at the prestigious Tollygunge Club.
The event saw the participation of several amateur golfers. There were 5 age categories for Tolly Amateur Classic 2025:
i. Amateur Category (14-34 years)
ii. Mid-Amateur Category (35-54 years)
iii. Senior Category (55-64 years)
iv. Super Senior Category (65+ years)
v. Ladies Category
Playing 36 holes over two rounds, overnight co-leader Jashan Bhaarat Shah won the Leg 2 of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Tolly Amateur Classic 2025 with an overall score of 147.
Dishan Ghosh: Runner Up, Amateur
Dishan Ghosh finished second in the Amateur category with an overall score of 157.
Abhishek Mitra: Winner, Mid-Amaeur
Overnight Abhishek Mitra won the Mid-Amateur category with a final round score of 161, followed by Sushil Kumar, who finished second in the Mid-Amateur category.
Col. Shreekant Tiwari: Winner, Senior Category
Overnight leader in Senior category, Col. Shreekant Tiwari won the Senior category, and his strictest competitor, Capt. Rajesh Patnakar finished second.
Ravindra Singhania: Super Senior Category
Overnight leader, Ravindra Singhania won the Super Senior category.
The enthusiasm and mental strength of all the amateurs, mid-amateurs, seniors and super seniors saw no bounds in the two consecutive rounds, and these two rounds remained a testimony to great sportsmanship and camaraderie.
