The Protouch Golf Academy hosted Putting Competition, which is the 1069th skills Competition, on Sunday, March 23. Many junior golfers of the Academy took part in the Putting Competition to display their putting skills.
The participants were divided into three categories based on their level of their skills and age: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. The participants played two rounds.

Ainesh Roy Chowdhury and Raaisha Gupta: Winner and Runner UP, Beginners’ Category

Playing two rounds, Ainesh Roy Chowdhury won the Beginners’ category, followed by Raaisha Gupta, who finished second.

Ayaansh Prasad and Khushi Baid: Winner and Runner Up, Intermediate category

Tough competition unfolded in the Intermediate category. After two rounds of putting, Ayaansh Prasad and Khushi Baid tied for the first place. Three rounds of play off followed, after which Ayaansh won the Intermediate category, followed by Khushi Baid, who finished second.

Ayaansh Gupta finished third.

Aranyak Chakraborty and Sreyash Ghose: Winner and Runner Up, Advanced Category

Another round of play off took place to decide the winner in the Advanced category. Two rounds of play off decided Aranyak Chakraborty to be the winner in the Advanced category, followed by Sreyash Ghose, who finished second.
Ainesh, winner in the Beginners’ category, said, “Last Sunday, I didn’t come first, which made me a bit upset. But I had it fixed in my mind that this Sunday, I have to win the first place. I practiced this whole week so that I could get better”.
Aranyak, winner in the Advanced category, said, “I took part in the Putting contest after a long time. It feels great to be a part of such an innovative initiative that helps us to improve our skills. The lessons that I take back home after such skills competition actually help me to perform better in tournaments”.

Participants of the Day

All the participants were seen eager to be participating in the 1070 Skills Competition, which is the Chipping Competition, that is going to be held at the Protouch Golf Academy, next Sunday, March 30.
