The third leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Bengal Amateur Open 2025, co-sanctioned by Bengal Golf Association (BGA) and Bengal Olympic Association, is all set to be held at the prestigious Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata on April 1 and April 2.
With the practice round scheduled on 31 March, the enthusiasm among the amateur and senior golfers, as well as the ladies, is built high, as they prepare to display their golfing skills in the upcoming two days.
The event is going to see the participation of over 40 amateur, mid-amateur, senior, super senior and ladies golfers. There are 5 age categories for the amateurs.
i. Amateur (14-34 years)
ii. Mid-Amateur (35-54 years)
iii. Senior (55-64 years)
iv. Super Senior (65+ years)
v. Ladies
The Bengal Amateur Open 2025 is going to be played over 36 holes by the participants over two rounds.
This is a WAGR ranked event. The dates for the WAGR ranked event is from April 1 to April 3.
