The third leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Bengal Amateur Open 2025, co-sanctioned by Bengal Golf Association (BGA) and Bengal Olympic Association, began on April 1 at the prestigious Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata with over 40 budding golfers teeing off with enthusiasm.
Rayan Sao, DIshan Ghosh and Aranyak Chakraborty: Category A&B Boys.
Scoring a 76, Rayan Sao leads the A&B Boys and B Boys. Winner of the second leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour – Tolly Junior Classic 2025, Dishan Ghosh had a tough first round, in which he trailed along and lay second with a score of 78, followed by Aranyak Chakraborty, who lay third at a score of 82.
Rayan Sao also leads Category B Boys, followed by Aranyak Chakraborty and Andrew Baid, laying second and third at scores of 82 and 83, respectively, after the conclusion of the first round.
Ishikha Bansal: Leader, Category B Girls.
Scoring a 96, Ishikha Bansal leads the B Girls.
Armaan Bhoopal: Leader, Category C Boys.
Winner of C Boys in the second leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder tour – Tolly Junior classic 2025, Armaan Bhoopal leads C Boys at a score of 99. Netr Shah and Wrichik Mukherjee followed to lay second and third at scores of 104 and 08 respectively.
Julinka Roy Chowdhury: Leader, C Girls
Shooting a 78, Julinka Roy Chowdhury leads C Boys, followed by Nahida Parveen and Nandini Rathee, who lay second and third in C Girls at scores of 79 and 89 respectively.
Dhruv D. Patodia and Shaurish Sen: D Boys.
Dhruv D. Patodia, winner of D Boys in the Tolly Junior Classic 2025 leads D Boys in the Bengal Junior Open 2025 at a score of 94. Dhruv was chased by Shaurish Sen, who lay second at a score of 97.
Aryaman Rungta: D Boys.
Aryaman Rungta lay third in D boys at a first round score of 107.
Vaasvi Himatsingka and Medhaavi Kaul: D Girls.
Vaasvi Himatsingka leads D Girls at a score of 110. Medhavi Kaul lay second in D Girls.
The participants of E Boys and E Girls played 9 holes on the first round.
Kiaan Chakraborty and Ruhi Nayar: Leader, E Boys and E Girls.
Kiaan Charaborty shot a 44 to lead E Boys, and Ruhi Nayar shot a 49, to lead the E Girls after the first round.
The second round of the third leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Bengal Amateur Open 2025 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, on April 2.
