The third leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Bengal Amateur Open 2025, co-sanctioned by Bengal Golf Association (BGA) and Bengal Olympic Association, began on April 1 at the prestigious Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata with over 40 amateur, mid-amateur, ladies and senior golfers teeing off with enthusiasm.
Scoring a 2-under 70 Samridh Sen took lead in the Amateur category after the conclusion of the first round. Anshul Mishra chased Samridh, and lay second at a score of 1-under 71.

Winner of the second leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Tolly Amateur Classic 2025, Jashan Bhaarat Shah had a tough first round, in which he scored a 75, and lay third after the first round.
Abhishek Mitra: Leader, Mid-Amateur Category
In the Mid-Amateur category, Abhishek Mitra took a lead at a score of 84. Mitra was chased by Sushil Kumar, who lay second at a score of 87. Dinesh Sarda lay third in the Mid-Amateur category at a score of 109 after the conclusion of the first round.
Col. Shreekant Tiwari: Leader, Senior Category
Col. Shreekant Tiwari scored an 83, and took a lead in the Senior category.
Sana Hussain: Leader, Ladies Category
Scoring a 101, Sana Hussain took lead in the Ladies’ category.
The second and the final round of the third leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – Bengal Amateur Open is scheduled to be held on April 2.
