Ceerat Kang leads the first round of the IGU Western India Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Kalhaar Blues and Greens, Ahmedabad, from April 15 to April 17.
Haryana golfer Ceerat Kang shot a 1-under 71 in the first round, taking a lead in the Overall Ladies & A& B Girls Category, followed by Rajasthan golfer Shiksha Jain, who lay second at a score of 1-over 73. A group of golfers including Haryana golfer Anvvi Dahhiya, Delhi golfer Ahaana Kashyap, and Goa golfer Rashi Mishra lay third jointly at a score of 75 after the first round.
Rajasthan golfer Shiksha Jain leads A&B Girls as well as B Girls. Haryana’s Anvvi Dahhiya, Delhi’s Ahaana Kashyap, and Goa’s Rashi Mishra who lay tied second jointly, followed by Haryana’s Riya Jadon, West Bengal’s Anaahat Bindra and Odisha’s Kashika Misra, who lay jointly fifth at a score of 76.
Goa golfer Rashi Mishra leads B Girls, followed by Goa golfer Rashi Misra who lay second in B Girls, and Haryana golfer Mehak Lohan, who lay third after the first round at a score of 77.
Meanwhile, runner-up of the IGU Gujarat Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, Karnataka golfer Aida Thimmaiah leads C Girls with a score of 1-over 73, followed by winner of the IGU Gujarat Ladues & Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, Ojaswini Saraswat, and Haryana’s Teesta Singh Sikarwar, who lay second and third at scores of 76 and 80 respectively.
The second round of the IGU Western India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, on April 16.
