Ceerat Kang wins the IGU Western India Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, that was being held at the Kalhaar Blues and Greens, Ahmedabad, from April 15 to April 17.
Overnight leader in two consecutive rounds, Haryana’s Ceerat Kang (71-74-74) played a difficult second round, but played a better third round, scoring a 1-under 71. With a total score of an even par, Ceerat won the Overall Ladies and A & B Girls Category.
Haryana’s Heena Kang shot her personal best of 3-under 69 in the third round, and at a total score of 219, finished second in the overall ladies and A B Girls Category.
Goa’s Rashi Mishra (75-74-74) finished third in the overall Ladies and A & B Girls Category at a total score of 223. Rashi also won the A&B Girls combined category, as well as B Girls.
West Bengal golfer Anaahat Bindra (76-80-76) finished tenth in the Overall Ladies and A & B Girls Category with a total score of 232, along with Karnataka’s Aradhya Shetty (78-76-78).
Delhi’s Ahaana Kashyap (75-78-71) shot a 1-under 71, her personal best in this tournament to finish second in A&B Girls Combined category, with a total score of 224, followed by Haryana’s Lavanya Gupta (79-72-76), who finished third at a total score of 227.
In B Girls, Rajasthan’s Shiksha Jain (73-76-79) and Delhi’s Rehnoor Malik (82-78-70) followed Rashi Mishra, and finished second and third in B Girls at total scores of 228 and 230 respectively.
Meanwhile, overnight leader for two consecutive rounds, Karnataka’s Aida Thimmaiah (73-75-69) scored a 3-under 69, her personal best in the tournament, and at a total score of 1-over 217, won C Girls.
Winner of the IGU Gujarat Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, Rajasthan’s Ojaswini Saraswat (76-75-70), also played her personal best of 2-under 70, and at a total score of 221, finished second in C Girls, followed by Haryana’s Teesta Singh Sikarwar (80-78-79), who finished third in C Girls, at a total score of 237.
