In a breathtaking exhibition of accuracy and cool nerves, Sweden’s Ingrid Lindblad won her first LPGA Tour title at the 2025 JM Eagle LA Championship. The rookie sensation, who has made tremendous waves this year, carded a measured final round of 68 to finish on 21-under par, one stroke ahead of Japan’s Akie Iwai.

Played at tough El Caballero Country Club, Lindblad’s *68,63,68,68* four-round scores demonstrated her terrific control and poise. She kept her composure on down the stretch, repelling a talented leaderboard of several battle-hardened rivals.

Akie Iwai, another rookie, mounted a strong challenge with a closing round 69, finishing at 20-under. In close third at 19-under were Lauren Coughlin, Esther Henseleit, and Miyu Yamashita, who tied for third after strong play all week.

Notably, Nasa Hataoka finished alone in sixth place at 18-under, with top names such as Jin Young Ko and Minjee Lee tied for seventh at 17-under. Fan favorite Nelly Korda finished tied for 16th at 14-under, maintaining her good season despite falling short of contention this week.

Lindblad’s victory is a breakthrough moment in what is shaping up to be a standout career. With her combination of power, precision, and poise, she’s now squarely on the radar as a rising star on the LPGA Tour.
