The Protouch Golf Academy hosted Long Shot Competition, which is the 1076 Skills Competition, on Sunday, March 16. Many junior golfers of the academy took part in the Long Shot Skills Competition to display their skills.

The participants were divided into three categories based on the level of their skills and age: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. The participants from all the categories played two rounds.

Noa Munshi and Riddhiman Ghosh: Winner and Runners Up, Beginners’ Category

Playing two rounds, Noa Munshi won the Beginners’ Category, followed by Riddhiman Ghosh, who finished second.

Ujaan Chakraborty and Jayansh Lakhotia: Winner and Runner Up, Intermediate Category

Ujaan Chakraborty won the Intermediate Category and was chased by Jayansh Lakhotia, who finished second.

Neelarnab Ghosh and Ayushman Sana: Winner and Runner Up, Advanced Category

Meanwhile, Neelarnab Ghosh won the Advanced Category, followed by Ayushman Sana, who finished second.

Nirvaan and Nirvair Talwar: Participants in the Beginners’ Category

Four years old novices Nirvaan Talwar and Nirvair Talwar won medals in the Beginners’ Category for their performances.

Noa Munshi, winner in the Beginners’ Category, said, “I played the Skills Competition for the first time. I am happy to have won. Now, I am motivated to be a part of the Skills Competition every week”.

Riddhiman Ghosh, runner up in the Beginners’ Category, said, “I didn’t think I would win a medal. This is my first time as well. I feel so happy for winning the second place”.

The day ended with all the junior golfers going home with their medals, eagerly waiting for the Chipping competition, 1077 Skills Competition, which is going to be held next Sunday, on May 18.
